Plug and Play Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Vincent Philippe; hereinafter referred to as "Plug and Play Japan") is pleased to announce that it has selected a total of 48 startups from Japan and overseas for its accelerator program, Winter 2026 Batch*, which will run from December 2025 to March 2026.
*Batch is a unit used by Plug and Play Japan to represent the accelerator program period.
◾️About Plug and Play Japan's Accelerator Program
The program aims to bring innovation to society by selecting startups from around the world that have cutting-edge technologies and services in seven business areas and promoting collaboration and cooperation with major corporate partners. Among the startups that have been selected so far, there are several that have not only collaborated with major companies through this program, but also raised funds and entered the Japanese market.
Open innovation, which aims to bring large companies and startups together, is recognized as having benefits for both parties in terms of business growth, but to make it a reality, it has been emphasized that there is a need for someone to bridge the gap and act as a bridge between the two parties in both the areas of human resources/community and network/matching.
In light of this situation, Plug and Play Japan, as the operator of an innovation platform that connects startups and large corporations , will leverage its track record of supporting over 1,000 startups, smooth access to over 60 overseas locations, and accumulated know-how on innovation and technology around the world to provide diverse and customized value for the business growth of both parties.

Plug and Play Japan has selected 48 startups from 14 countries and regions around the world for the Winter 2026 period.
First of all, congratulations to all the startups that were selected.
Our vision is to "create an innovation platform that can see into the future," and we work every day to realize open innovation that connects major Japanese companies with startups that are taking on new challenges in the world with new technologies. This time, we have selected five startups that will lead the future not only in our previous vertical fields, but also in the newly established Enterprise & AI field. All 48 of these companies were selected from our network of literally thousands of startups, and are startups that are suited to open innovation with our partner companies.
