Off-highway vehicle HMIs
TG0’s patented moulded-material sensors allow manufacturers to innovate and differentiate off-highway vehicles’ human machine interface (HMI) systems often used in agriculture, construction and other heavy-duty vehicles or equipment. TG0 turns the controller itself into the sensor. Gestural commands, touch and pressure can all be tracked in real time, using one microcontroller. There’s no need to introduce new electronic clusters or high-performance sensor network technology. As such, this process does not add any additional hardware to the existing lines, but completely eliminates any sensor assembling and calibration as a whole.

The design possibilities are endless. Multiple mechanical controls can be combined into a single service, with a wide range of decorative materials and seamless finishes (including dust- and waterproof). TG0’s technology uses far fewer electronic components, which leads to significantly reduced failure rate caused by individual component breakdown, and the noise caused by friction between HMI bundles. It’s also more environmentally friendly.

TG0’s multi-disciplinary teams will work with partners end-to-end, taking a prototype idea to a product ready for mass production in a matter of weeks. Solutions are easy to assemble with fewer components and lower cost. At end of life, the disassembly process is straightforward and compatible with recycling – the sensor material technology only requires the electrical connection to be unplugged.
